Our strategy is to develop and equip indigenous workers from unreached people groups where the gospel has taken root and send them to work among people groups that are least engaged. The development process for indigenous leaders of church planting movements needs to be one of first building indigenous designers rather than seeking to provide everything for them.
The development process of indigenous designers will focus on six things:We must prayerfully, relationally and strategically pursue engagement with indigenous Christian leaders who can catalyze and champion healthy church planting movementsWe must disciple these designers in their own spiritual lives with a proper understanding of the scriptures and a biblical view of life which impacts their families, their work and their ministries. We must explore with them the core biblical principles of leadership development within the context of their culture that is consistent with a biblical worldviewWe must coach them on an ongoing basis as they form and implement their own designs in their own environments. We must resource them with leader development tools, printed materials, and examples in a way that enables them to be in control and own the leader development process We must help the indigenous designers network with other workers and leaders within the context of church planting movements in their people group.
